The fact that gold, silver, copper, gemstones, pearls and the silica and metal oxides of the enamels are all natural elements seems to be particularly appropriate - natural elements combined to create natural forms and colors.  The color of gold has attracted people from time immemorial and I am no exception.  I use 22kt whenever I can in a piece, often combining it with silver or copper to set off its beauty.  Every one of my pieces is completely hand fabricated.  Each disc in my “Disc” series is hand hammered, each tiny piece of tubing is hand drawn from 22kt gold and every clasp is hand formed.  When I was first learning someone told me that the sign of a truly well made piece of jewelry was that the back of the piece would be as beautiful as the front.  I am often asked if my pieces are reversible.  I continually strive to design and create the best pieces that I am capable of, often working well beyond my established abilities.  Thus I continue to grow and to learn.
